The Cost and Risks of a Paper Trail
AmericanChecked President and CEO Julie Hakman will be speaking at the 2017 Wisconsin Gaming Regulators Association Conference on the Costs and Risks Associated with a Paper Trail on June 15, 2017.
The presentation unpacks the top risks inherent in paper-based processes and other concerns, including security, management, recovery, accuracy, costs and efficiency. Information is geared specifically toward Tribal Gaming Regulators who often conduct license verifications through unsecure paper faxes. Attendees will learn how paper can actually be less secure than storing data in a well planned digital format and how maintaining compliance can be a challenge.
The presentation will also review the advantages and cost savings of implementing paperless mechanisms for managing sensitive information, timelines and reporting as well as becoming – and remaining – compliant.
