AmericanChecked’s President and CEO Julie Hakman will be speaking at this year’s North American Gaming Regulators Association Conference in Austin, Texas. Attendees will learn the truth about what is in a criminal record and the source of the information for employment screening. She will explore overlapping tools in screening to conduct the best search to avoid negligent screening, and will review cases of missed criminal records that could have prevented a negative consequence. There are many trending resources to gather information about an applicant, which can sometimes cloud the basic screening tools.

Additionally, Julie will present on two other panels. On June 5, she along with Amber McDonald with the St. Regis Mohawk Gaming Commission and Melissa Aarskaug with Bulletproof will host “Global Gaming Women: The Value of Having or Creating a Menor/Mentee program. On Wednesday, June 6, she and Michael Hankin with Aristocrat Technologies will cover Ban the Box laws and regulations.
